Computer algebra consists in performing symbolic manipulations of formulas on computers.

The members of the Computer Algebra group (Head: François Boulier) mainly work on the symbolic manipulation of systems differential equations (algebra, geometry) and in biological modeling.

The Computer Algebra group is part of a set of three research teams, attached to the research domain life sciences. This domain is one of the promoted research domains of the laboratory.
