Guidance
The Careers and Jobs Department - Doctoral College of PRES Université Lille - Northern France offers support to PhD Students and PhD through a series of actions. This department is also a relay for the Intelli'Agence Association (formerly Bernard Gregory Association).
The main actions proposed by this department are:
- A professional training (defining career plan, conducting his/her thesis in project mode, interview situation, developing a professional network, etc.),
- The doctoriales, a one-week seminar with innovation professionals, expected in May 2013,
- A self-evalutation questionnaire to fill as the PhD student goes along to measure his/her progress (with the accompaniment of the Professional Insertion referent of his/her domain),
- The promotion of skills or what was formerly called "NCT: New Chapter of Thesis". This promotion is an assessment of skills to get the best return out of the skills acquired during the thesis. Registration in mid-December for PhD students who plan to defense their thesis between May 2013 and April 2014 on the site Intelli'Agence (to be validated by the advisor and the graduate school).
