Nouveaux Outils pour la Collaboration et l'Education (NOCE) - New tools for collaboration and learning

The NOCE team designs methods, tools and infrastructures to support working and learning collaborative activities. Our approach takes into account the whole lifecycle of these environments including design and flexible and adaptible infrastructures to support execution and interaction. To this end, the team contributes to the fields of Human-Computer Interaction and Software engineering. The team participates actively to the Technology Enhanced Learning community.

* We are looking for a student for a research training period from March 14th, 2011 to August 14th, 2011. The subject is “Multimodal Mobile Applications and Model-Driven Engineering”. The subject is here (in French).

* SASSI Hajer, ROUILLARD José, TARBY Jean-Claude & RENARD Grégory, have a short paper accepted at WACA 2010: Un système multi-agents permettant une assistance homme-machine mutuelle dans un environnement ambiant, Quatrième Workshop sur les Agents Conversationnels Animés, WACA 2010, Lille, 2010.

* Xavier Le Pallec, Raphael Marvie, Jean-Claude Tarby & José Rouillard have a demo accepted at UIST 2010.

* Jean-Claude Tarby & José Rouillard have a paper accepted at ERGO IA 2010.

* Our prototype of tangible interface for the retail industry will be demonstrated at the next Salon de la Vente à Distance

* Yvan Peter organises a Workshop at EC-TEL 2010 in Barcelona (Spain) about the convergence of pervasive, social and semantic technologies for learning (website).

* Yvan Peter has a paper accepted at TICE 2010.
