What is MAGIQUE ?
MAGIQUE stands for "Multi-AGent hiérarchIQUE" (ie. hierarchical
multi-agent). First it is a model of MAS base on the principle of
hierarchies of agents with some specific rule of communications inside
a hierarchy.
But MAGIQUE is an API too. This API develops the model and allows you
to create multi-agent applications. Main features are:
- above Java jdk 1.1.* or higher
- distribution of agents over a network
- easy development of agents
- synchronous or asynchronous communications
- dynamicity of MAS:
- individual : dynamic acquisition of skills by agents,
- communication : dynamic evolution of communication structure
- structure : dynamic creation of agents in MAS
- graphical environment for creation, distribution and execution of MAS
