Gaspard2

Gaspard2 is an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for SoC visual co-modeling. It allows or will allow modeling, simulation, testing and code generation of SoC applications and hardware architectures.

The tool is based on Eclipse as an autonomous application. All you need is Java 5.0 to use Gaspard2. Just extract the file and go under the gaspard2 directory. Then, run the appropriate launcher, depending on your system (Linux, Windows, MacOS X).

Gaspard Profile for MagicDraw UML

The profile for modeling architecture and application for MagicDraw UML 12.5 and its documentation are available.

After unzipping the file, start MagicDraw and do the following:

One model example: a radar application (STAP, by Thales) associated onto an architecture with 8 PowerPCs.

Another previous version of Gaspard is still available under the name Gaspard Classic. This version was not based on modeling concepts but rather on visual programming techniques. It served as a test bench for some of the optimisation techniques used in Gaspard2.
