I am an Assistant Professor in FOX-MIIRE group of LIFL, located in the University of Lille in the north of France.

I am involved in the ANR-REPERE PERCOL, and the ITEA2 european project TWIRL.

  previous possition at nii japan
Since December 2005 and until November 2007, I have been a postdoctoral researcher in the Multimedia Information Research Division of the National Institute of Informatics, working with Prof. Shin'ichi Satoh. For this fellowship, I have been awarded a JSPS Postdoctoral fellowship for 2 years.

I am currently interested in visual document (image/video) data mining for annotation and human behavior analysis from video.
Related research areas include image processing, computer vision, cross-modal document analysis, document indexing and information retrieval models.
