I am a Ph D student at the IRCICA laboratory (Lille, France) in the Mint team (Methods and tools for gesture-based interaction). My thesis is managed by Christophe Chaillou and Laurent Grisoni and is co-funding by idées-3com.
My work is focused on multitouch interactions on 3d content. I try to find new or to improve the existing techniques in the aim to move into a 3d virtual environment and to manipulate 3d virtual objects by using a multitouch screen (phone, desktop screen, tv).
The aim of my research is to find the interactions which allow the novice users as well as expert users to do these tasks the most easily and the most simply possible with a very short learning time.
