Abstract

We present in this paper a formal framework for the argumentation-based dialogues between agents. We formalize the notion of dialogue-game that is composed by a set of sequence rules describing the responds that are allowed or not in a given situation. We propose a dialogue-game of information-seeking and a dialogue-game of persuasion. The termination of such dialogues are warranted whatever the initial informational situation is. By contrast, the goal of these dialogues are reached if some assumptions about the initial informational situation of participants are verified.
