Multilevel Simulation Modelling

I study multi-level simulations, their modelling and a dedicated modelling language. Within the GAMA project, I developped the multi-level facet to provide field experts, modellers, and computer scientists a complete modelling and simulation development environment for building spatially explicit multi-agent simulations.

Multi-Agent Resource Allocation

I also study distributed solving approaches for resource allocation problems. According to different notions of the social welfare theory, I study the agent behaviors and the conditions favoring the achievement of optimal resource allocations thanks to agent negotiations according to a social network restricting the agent communication abilities. The allocation is achieved as an emergent phenomenon, which allows adapative and anytime solving process.
