Simulation multi-agents : méthodes de conception et d'implémentation de simulations multi-agents, visant à une généricité accrue. Pour cela, nous défendons au sein de l'équipe SMAC la séparation conceptuelle et logicielle entre les entités du modèle (les agents) et leurs comportements (les interactions) — cf. la méthode orientée interactions IODA
Simulation multi-échelle : questions théoriques et pratiques liées à la modélisation et à la simulation de systèmes multi-échelles i.e. impliquant des entités participant de plusieurs niveaux d'observation (physiques, sociaux, organisationnels...), soumises à des temporalités différentes, ou manifestant des comportements fonctions de leur situation dans le système — cf. PADAWAN

Multiagent Simulation: methods for the design and the implementation of multiagent simulations, aimed at an enhanced genericity. Therefore, the SMAC team states that the design and the implementation of the simulation have to support a separation between the entities of the model (the agents) and their behaviors (the interactions) — cf. the interaction-oriented method IODA
Multi-scale Simulation: theoretical and practical issues related to the modeling and the simulation of multi-scale systems, i.e. involving entities at several observation levels (physical, social, organisational...), or with different rhythms, or changing their behavior depending on the level where they operate — cf. PADAWAN
