My name is Maude Pupin. I'm assisant professor at Lille 1 University, in UFR IEEA
(Unité de Formation et de Recherche en Informatique, Electronique, Electrotechnique et Automatique)
since september 2000. I do my research on bioinformatics for nonribosomal peptides
in the Bonsai team,
a bioinformatics research group at CRIStAL
(Centre de Recherche en Informatique, Signal et Automatique de Lille, UMR 9189 Lille 1 University / CNRS)
and Inria Lille - Nord Europe.
I'm teaching computer science, bioinformatics and I work with students for their employability at
FIL department (Formations en Informatique
I've finished my HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) in computer science, the 3rd of December 2013. It is entitled Computational biology for nonribosomal peptides and their synthetases. I've done my PhD thesis at Pasteur Institut in Paris from January 1997 to January 2000, under the direction of Antoine Danchin, working on Local and approximate repeats detection and design of a genomic database.
I'm married (my maiden name is Klaerr-Blanchard) and I've got two girls (born in 2000 and 2003).
